Our founder served in the United States Army from 2009–2017, including a combat deployment to Afghanistan in 2010–2011. As an 89A — Ammunition Stock Control & Accounting Specialist — he was accountable for the inventory, control, and accurate accounting of every round, fuze, and detonator that moved through his unit. The math had to be right every single time. A misplaced count or a sloppy transfer record wasn't a paperwork problem — it was a safety problem with people's lives on the line.
After leaving the Army in 2017, he built multiple moving and logistics operations across the Front Range — including a successful Denver-area moving company that was scaled and sold. Across those years and hundreds of customer jobs, the same pattern kept showing up in the junk removal industry that sat alongside the moving work: customers who couldn't get a straight quote, crews that showed up hours late, surprise upcharges after the truck was already loaded, and "veteran-owned" companies that were just slapping a flag on the website without any of the standards behind it.
